The Design Business Association

The Design Business Association exists to promote professional excellence through productive partnerships between commerce and the design industry in order to champion effective design which improves the quality of people's lives.

The DBA's major focus is to build the performance and improve the prosperity of design agencies. This programme extends its member benefits such as salary surveys, performance ratios, the business helpline and the legal advice to a broader and bolder 'design consultancy diagnostic tool'.

The DBA also demonstrates the benefit of effective design as an integral part of the business mix, particularly via the annual DBA Design Effectiveness Awards, which emphasise the value of design.

In addition, it runs a programme of activities in the public sector as well as on the international stage as part of its aim of communicating the importance of design to government.
